Bath Uni...

...We did a gig Bath University on Saturday and it was quality!

We headlined this event for the university radio stations 5th birthday and did a 45 minute set which is unusual because we normally get to rush 6-7 songs in to a 30 min set.

We had these kids down the front that were doing themselves some serious damage 'moshing'. They were running in to eachother, jumping up and down and crashing in to the stage. At one point a kid crashed in to Giles's mic stand and the mic walloped Giles in the mouth.

It was good to have this gig because the previous week we played at Southampton Uni and it was a demoralizing experience. They didn't bother to promote it at all. We ended up playing in a 600 capacity venue to around 10-15 people. Not nice...

We've got an important gig coming up in London this Thursday. It's in Westbourne Park at a venue called Woody's. We really want to pack the place out to impress some important people. So if you're in London or have any London friends, please let them know about the gig! The PR release for the gig says we're 'Pete Townshend's favorite rockers' which I'm quite embarrassed about really.

Hopefully I'll have good news to report about the gig!

Take the good with the bad. Small crowds happen. Dropping Pete's name may not be the coolest thing to do in promotion, but lets see if it has any bearing on crowd size. Getting Pete to do a song with the band at a show would be too cool.

I am glad this one went well. Good luck Thursday. Let us know how it goes. I see what you mean about the PR. What can you do?!
You'll be great.
