Monday 21st Jan was an amazing day. It was all pretty surreal. We did a gig in front of 2000 odd people in front of the London Eye. Definitely the most unusual and probably the most high profile show we've done. It was all in aid of the Launch of the new Fiat 500. The official unveiling was 500 hours in to the new year. Also on the bill were The Feeling and Mika. We were up at the crack of dawn and packed up the van with our gear and got to the eye at 9am. We were soundchecking at 10:30am. The rest of the day, we were constantly supplied with food. Staff kept knocking on the door "here's your curry". 2 mins later "here's your soup". 2 mins after that "here's some rolls and some egg mayonnaise". and then it's "here's your barnsley lamb". Going to end up looking like Meatloaf if we do any more of these gigs.

We took to the stage at about 7pm and played a 3 song set. We played a couple of new ones; 'Sending Out' and 'Messages' and then closed on 'First Move' from the Retaliate EP. As we were walking off stage, we were stopped by Robin Burke, Virgin Radio DJ who was hosting the event, and did a 2 min interview in front of the crowd. Giles was handling the questions brilliantly and then he decided to let me have a go. I think what I said vaguely resembled English.

After the interview, we watched a bit of The Feeling and headed to the party to sample the free 'FIAT' champagne and played spot the celeb
